You see your self upon a train reflecting on the loss and pain you felt. Close to your seat, a man is near, who takes his joy from others gain. Who is this man? What is this joy that caused unspoken to deploy this thought? You're scared to ask, but not to hear what hidden words demolish fear.

 

Why can't we see past the darkness? A mist forever callusing our eyes . . .

Why can't we see the hope before us? A hope we constantly disguise . . .

This love, we love to compromise.

 

He asks you questions from his heart, yet you can't find the words to start to say the things you've said, the things you've done, that caused you to turn out this way. He understands the things you've said. Not just in heart, but in his head he shows he knows your pain, he sees your loss; and in a glimpse your spirit grows to love this message of the cross.

 

Your burdens start to disappear. The loss, the shame, and all the fear is gone. You're calloused eyes can see the day; your train has passed from dusk to dawn. You see outside, as you pass by, a happy town where he must say goodbye. He's seen the tracks, his trip is done. The wedding banquet's just begun.
